A campsite that is now 75 years old and has made adjustments over the years for the convenience of the camper and has implemented other renovations, no longer needs a wreath but is proving itself.

Beach camping Gruber, the location;
is located in the southern part of Carinthia, directly on the border with Italy and Slovenia. On the south-eastern shore of Lake Faaker See. Due to its location on the sunny south side of the Alps, the climate is particularly mild and stands out because of the many hours of sunshine. Camping guests can also enjoy the unique sense of life and joie de vivre of the Carinthians. When the sun sets in the evening, it is particularly beautiful to enjoy the view of the lake from the terrace of the restaurant or from one of the benches. Here every camping guest can really relax and forget the daily grind.
 
Beach camping Gruber;
Like many campsites around Lake Faaker See, it is located directly on the lake. The camping beach has a gradual slope, is clean and has a pleasant feel. For sun worshipers, the campsite has plenty of pitches, a sunbathing lawn (approximately 6000 m2) on the beach and of course the beach itself. For "non-swimmers" there is a section in the lake up to about 1.30 meters. deep, deposited. Of course, the campsite also knows shadow. Trees enough. Most places have a direct view of the lake.

Sanitary
The sanitary facilities at Strandcamping Gruber have recently been renovated and are very tidy. A special department in the various sanitary buildings has been adapted for the little ones. They will enjoy being washed and may even be able to shower themselves.
Also new are the 19 Mobile Homes (4 to 5 persons), neatly grouped and occupying a special and extremely well-kept spot on the campsite.

Cullinary
For camping guests with culinary interests, Strandcamping Gruber has little to offer. The renovated restaurant looks like a cozy living room and the food and drinks are of good quality. Especially the coffee is of special quality.

"Aquatics"
For "fish lovers", Strandcamping Gruber has rowing and electric boats and 3-day permits available (for a fee)! It is also possible to go out on the water under the guidance of an experienced "fisherman" and cast a fishing line. Strandcamping Gruber has special packages for this. For other "water sports enthusiasts" , Strandcamping Gruber has pedal boats and stand-up paddles available.

Strandcamping Gruber is one of the few to have a charging station for E-cars.
