Au an der Donau is a neat campsite located directly on the river Danube. In the vicinity of the campsite there are many hiking and cycling opportunities (NEW, E-bike rental!). The culture of the region is warmly embraced by the campsite managers. In the unlikely event that you do not want to set up your tent, there is also a possibility to stay overnight in one of the "wine barrels" or huts. There is also the possibility to stay overnight in the pension belonging to the camp site.
