The Frisian couple Hetty and Harry Leijstra took over a former Czech children's camp several years ago and continued this as camping. Camping Na Staré Papírne has retained its Czech character. The terrain lies deep in the forest and on the river Lužnice in which an island lies. In summer there are a lot of canoeists who set up their tents or spend the night in one of the many huts on the property. Two of the three larger buildings have been converted into well-kept holiday homes for four people (long beds). Do not be put off by the long (5.5 km) narrow access road, there are plenty of alternatives.
