Camping Cherry Hinton CC Site
Goed gelegen om met openbaar vervoer naar Cambridge te gaan. Vele bezienswaardigheden in omgeving. Natuurgebied met zeldzame planten en fauna vlakbij.
Camping near Cambridge at Cherry Hinton campsite. The site is located in an old excavation and is of scientific value. The landscape of the campsite is shaped in such a way that it gives the impression that it is in the middle of nature and it is very quiet. Yet you are in the center of Cambridge in 20 minutes by bus. A walk with a guide is an excellent way to take in the academic atmosphere of the medieval university buildings. You can also get a good impression of this university city with the open-top buses. The same bus also takes you to the American war cemetery outside Cambridge, where the Taj Mahall served as an example. Of course you can also push yourself with a "point" yourself on the river Cam and sail past the colleges of Corpus Christi, Magdalene and the Bridge of Sighs. And do not forget King's College Chapel. Outside the city are worth a visit: Duxford Imperial War Museum, Audley End House with gardens, Wimpole Hall, Anglesey Abbey with gardens and the Fowlmere Nature Reserve.
