Hertford Camping And Caravanning Clubsite
Deze camping is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Londen.
Quiet camping and by train to London? The Hertford Club Site is a beautiful large, beautifully situated campsite. The campsite consists of several fields surrounded by bossages. The two toilet blocks of the Hertford Club Site are placed centrally by group of fields and are, as we are used to at the Camping and Caravanning Club, spotless and well maintained. The camp was opened in 1953 by the wife of and in memory of Baden Powell. In 1966, this campsite was reopened by the grandson of Baden Powell. From the nearby (2 1/2 km) train station you can take day trips to London. You can use a public transport card for 1 day. In all London you can then travel by public transport on this card. You also get a discount on a cruise on the Thames with this card. The camp site is close to Hertford with a cozy center with many pubs, restaurants and shops.
