Camping Dandy Dinmont is conveniently located at a junction of motorways. The camping pitches for campers and caravans are located on and around an open field of grass, surrounded by around 15 private mobile homes. A separate field is available for campers with a tent. The bathroom is simple, but just like the terrain is neatly cared for by the Inglis family. A few remnants of the Roman occupation can be found a short distance from the campsite. In the Senhouse museum in Maryport you can admire a fine collection of Roman antiquities.
