The campsite consists of a spacious and open grass area with hardened pitches along the edges. The plumbing in two buildings is somewhat dated, but is kept clean. During the holidays and Bank Holidays the camp site is busy, also by families with children, for which no activities are organized. Fish and chips are available twice a week. Tips for trips: Alnwick Garden and Castle (known from the Harry Potter films) and Bamburgh Castle.
