Fallowfield Dene Caravan Park is a wooded campsite for campers with a caravan or camper. The camping pitches are situated on a number of fields separated by ascending plants. Most fields are used by permanent campers, but 3 fields are kept free for the tourist camper. However, there is no room for this tent camper. There are quite a lot of trees scattered around the site. The sanitary facilities of the campsite are kept clean and accessible by means of a code. Some food is available at the campsite, but there are supermarkets in Hexham and Corbridge at a distance of approx. 3 km. For lovers there are bicycles for rent to get to know the beautiful landscape in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. Hadrian's Wall is at a distance of less than 2 km. About 2000 years ago, this wall formed the northern border of the Roman Empire. The most spectacular parts of this wall are carefully preserved and are now an international monument. The surrounding landscape forms a breathtaking background with beautiful walks. You can walk from coast to coast along the Hadrian's Wall path (135 km).
