Camping in Yorkshire at camping Sandfield House farm Touring Park. The campsite is situated on a undulating terrain with a view of the sea. It has been ensured that all spots are flat. At less than 500 m you will find a sandy beach with a length of more than 3 km. If you prefer to have solid ground under your feet then there is a promenade that offers the possibility to walk 1.5 km to Whitby. If you prefer to go to a smaller place, walk the other way to Sandsend with nice walks around the village or along the old railway. Next to the campsite is a golf course where you can join for a day. In Whitby you can go for everything: supermarket, swimming pool, sports hall, theater and boat trips including fishing at sea. Near Ruswarp you can rent rowing boats to sail on the river Esk. The site is also located in the North York Moors National Park with picturesque villages such as Lealholm, Goathland (TV series Heartbeat), Egton Bridge and Glaisdale. The famous steam train runs from Pickering to Grosmont and now even to Whitby. There are beautiful walks in Maybeck, Dalby Forest and Mulgrave Woods. And do not forget the beautiful villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Robin Hood's Bay on the coast.
