Around the campsite there are many roads and paths where you can enjoy an evening walk or visit the friendly Buck Inn where you can enjoy traditional beers or a little further to taste the local cuisine in the Huntsman restaurant. From the campsite you can literally go all directions, but also figuratively, because in the vicinity there is something for everyone from sporting to cultural. To name a few: Byland Abbey, Beningborough Hall, Farming Museum, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, Ampleforth College Indoor Sports Center, Scarborough Sea Life Center.
