Beautiful "farm" campsite in the direction of the West Mendip Hospital. From the Old Oaks one can walk, 20 minutes, to the "Tor", which is a tower of an old church on top of the hill, it is just visible from the fishpond. Very nicely landscaped, squares, gravel and asphalt paths, large places, often half gravel. Beautiful sanitary facilities. The Old Oaks is very quiet, the whole site is very well maintained, and it all looks neat! Now also hiker cabins for rent. Glastonbury is approx. 2 km walk in, and about 10 minutes drive.
