Chalets - Camping Plage du Midi is 600 meters above sea level on the Settons lake in the Morvan, the green heart of Burgundy. The 3 ha grass area runs gently sloping and has hedged-off areas defined by hedges and trees. The plumbing has been renewed in 2011. For youth there is a table tennis table and an indoor games room. Almost all places have a view of the lake. At the campsite you will find; a grocery store with, among other things, bread and newspaper sales and a cozy bar with terrace on the sandy beach for the sale of sandwiches, fries and ice cream. Collective barbecues are organized in high season. At the edge of the lake you will also find the new covered and heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a solarium with sun loungers. For guests there is free wireless internet available in and around the bar. If you bring your own boat you can use the boat ramp at the campsite. Near the campsite is a water sports center where various types of boats, pedal boats and also bicycles can be rented. Next to the campsite is a restaurant that is owned by the same family as the campsite. The lake is bordered by a dike built of unique stones from France (1858). The superb location of the campsite, in the Morvan Natural Park, land of living water (rivers and lake), offers its guests a range of recreational opportunities. In the first place of course the water sports. At Lac des Settons you can enjoy sailing, rowing or canoeing. Also water scooters are allowed on the lake. You can organize organized cruises on the lake, but also relax and swim on a small beach on the waterfront. Another possibility is to make a wonderful relaxing walk along the path that has been built along the lake. In the National Park de Morvan, no less than 3500 km of walking and cycling routes have been laid out and set out. The campsite is suitable for families with children in all ages. If you do not have your own camping equipment available, you can go to one of the chalets that are rented out. All chalets are detached and have a view of the lake.
