The quiet campsite Hautoreille is part of the beautiful nature of the Haute Marne. The campsite is ideally suited as a transit camp. In addition, Hautoreille is open throughout the year. Two sanitary blocks at the campsite are heated and you will find an adapted heated room for taking care of small children and babies. This French campsite is located 6 kilometers north of Langres, not far from the A31 and N74 (see route description). Camping Hautoreille is beautifully situated on a hill just above the village of Bannes. It is also worthwhile to stay a little longer to keep e.g. to visit the medieval city of Langres. At a distance of 1 to 15 kilometers there are 4 lakes. Ideal for various types of water sports and sport fishing. There is also excellent cycling and walking. The camp site itself has a restaurant, an attractive terrace and a bar, but until mid-May they are only open at weekends. However, you can walk to the village where there is an excellent restaurant. The grass pitches are generally spacious, but not always flat. In rainy weather it is quite swampy, but a number of flat gravel sites have been created. In the afternoon at four o'clock the campsite is full of mostly Dutch people, most of whom have disappeared the next morning. Reservation may be necessary in July and August.
