Le Domaine de la Garenne campsite is located in the heart of the Drôme des Collines, about 20 kilometers from Romans sur Isère, the capital of the Drôme department. It is a quiet family campsite with very spacious pitches that offer a lot of privacy and are located on flat terraces on the hillside. There is a new (2011) complex of 3 swimming pools. The site is mainly aimed at the peace seeker, there is no shop or restaurant, but in the high season regular culinary evenings are organized (pizza, barbecue, caterer) and bread is available in that period. The plumbing is well cared for, but simple. The village Chateuneuf de Galaure, with a few shops, is 3 kilometers away. The surrounding area offers plenty of fruit trees and vineyards, and is well suited for hiking and cycling tours.
