Come enjoy a wonderful holiday in the rural surroundings of the Drôme, between Lyon and Valence. Looking for peace and quiet? Walk or cycle and discover the lush nature of the Rhone Valley. Read a book by the pool or feel completely zen in the wellness chalet with jacuzzi and sauna. Aurélie and Emmanuel ensure that their guests lack nothing. Please note that the campsite is located on top of a hill and therefore the walk back may be difficult for people with mobility problems.

Facilities at Chataigneraie campsite
Eating in the restaurant on the campsite is highly recommended. Every day the chef provides delicious lunches and dinners. The price-quality ratio is excellent. A drink on the terrace beforehand and the evening is complete. With a satisfied feeling you go to bed in a tent, caravan or camper on well-maintained spacious camping pitches. Two of them have private sanitary facilities and kitchens. Handy with children! The pitches are demarcated with low vegetation. Would you rather sleep in a canvas lodge, mobile home or chalet? They come in different sizes and with different facilities. The sanitary building at Chataigneraie campsite in the Drôme is first class, modern and clean.

Animation and recreation
In July and August you can participate in activities all day long at Chataigneraie campsite, such as swimming, tennis tournaments, football, table tennis and petanque. The Dutch-speaking entertainment team entertains the children. Interested in evening entertainment? Sing along to karaoke, test your knowledge with the quiz and have fun on the dance floor. Cozy right?

Enjoy the low season for people over 50
You won't easily get bored of the area. There are several hiking and cycling trails 3 km past the campsite, including the Viarhona. Follow the wine route through the Rhône Valley (Condrieu, Hermitage etc...) and taste a glass along the way.

Visit the impressive Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval and discover the history of the castle. Really very special! Also nice are Safari Park de Peaugres, the Musée du Chocolat Valrhona, and the Lafuma outlet center. Don't want to go far away? Stroll through the streets of Anneyron and see the houses built in old style.
