Le Château de Leychoisier campsite is a beautiful site on an estate with a castle from the 15th century. There are beautiful old redwoods (giant conifer) on the grounds. The pitches are generally spacious. Le Château de Leychoisier campsite is located in the Haute Vienne, about 10 km north of Limoges, close to the exit of the A20 motorway. The campsite has a nice swimming pool, there is also a lake where you can swim and fish. Victor Hugo found inspiration here for one of his poems. The city of Limoges is more than worth a visit, as is Oradour sur Glane, which was completely destroyed and massacred in June 1944 by a German regiment. It is completely preserved in the state of that moment.
