Camping De la Météorite is a beautiful campsite, situated on a sloping terrain near a lake (fishing is allowed) in the Haute Vienne in the northernmost part of the Périgord-Limousin natural park. The campsite is near the pretty town of Rochechouart. A number of facilities have recently been renewed, such as the sanitary facilities and the heated swimming pool. In the summer of 2010 the new restaurant was completed. There is opportunity on the adjacent grounds to practice various sports, and there is a nice playground. In the area both historic sites and beautiful nature offer every opportunity to spend a wonderful holiday. Oradour, known from the Second World War, is not far away.
