Camping Les Terrasses du Lac is a terraced campsite where you can look out over the Lac de Vassivière and the surrounding hills from almost every location. The camp site is located near the hamlet of Vauveix, on the south side of the popular lake that covers 1000 hectares and has 45 km of shores. In the lake there is an island that can be reached by boat, by footbridge and with a train. A cruise can be made on the lake. Near the campsite is a tree adventure park where young and old can 'climb' through the trees.
