Camping Suisse-Océan is a nice terraced campsite on a lake, l'Etang du Cheix, a few kilometers east of La Souterraine. The campsite is open all year. The campsite has beautiful camping pitches under large trees, which provide plenty of shade. Suisse-Océan has a full-fledged restaurant where many French people come and a cozy bar. The new manager (spring 2010) wants to modernize the site in the short term and expand it with a number of facilities.
