This former municipal campsite is 900 meters from the center of St. Jean d'Angély and about 5 km from exit 34 of the A10 motorway (Paris-Bordeaux). There are 99 sites, of which about 30 are mobile homes owned by French owners; these lie along the outer edge. As a result, the terrain has the character of a 'real' campsite. The owners put their guests centrally, also at the end of the season, we have experienced. The old town has many amenities and is well worth a visit, there is a walking route of over an hour and a half that takes you past the sights. Also in the area is necessary to see: the city of Cognac, the Atlantic coast (La Rochelle is about an hour's drive) and the gently sloping hinterland. There are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and car trips.
