Domaine des 2 Soleils ligt in het zuidelijkste deel van de Hautes Alpes, waar een mediterraan klimaat heerst met ca. 300 zondagen per jaar.
Camping Domaine des 2 Soleils is located at 800 meters altitude in the extreme south of the Hautes Alpes department in the valley of the river Buëch. Unlike the name suggests, this campsite offers plenty of shade with lots of privacy. There is a lot of difference in height, which makes the campsite less suitable for people who have difficulty walking. From some places it is a short walk to a sanitary building. If necessary, your caravan is put on the pitch for you, so you do not have to maneuver difficult on the hard slopes. Serres is a few kilometers away, it is a cozy medieval town with narrow streets. The campsite has a swimming pool and an opportunity for sports and games. Guided walks are organized for guests during the season (free of charge).
