Camping Le Clos du Lac ligt op 1450 m hoogte aan de zuidrand van het Parc des Ecrins en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het Lac de Serre Ponçon.
Le Clos du Lac campsite is located in a mountain area at the southern entrance of the Parc National des Ecrins, one of the most beautiful natural parks in the French Alps with a huge variety of plant and animal species. From this simple campsite you have a panoramic view of the Lac de Serre Ponçon. Next to the campsite is Lake St. Apollinaire, where you can swim. There is a restaurant with a lakeside terrace, as well as pedal boats and mini golf. These facilities are mainly open in high season. This terraced camp site offers the campers in most places not much shelter from the sun, there is some young planting of trees. St. Apollonaire is about 2.5 km, accessible along a fairly steep road. For your daily shopping you have to drive approx. 8 km.
