Camping Le Diamant is located at 1100 meters altitude, in the middle of a valley (Vallée du Champsour), on the trout river Drac. The tourist village of Pont du Fossé is located near Saint Jean Saint Nicolas, 20 km from Gap, in the southern Alpine region on the edge of the National Park Des Ecrins. The pitches are partly in the forest (great privacy!), And partly on the edge of a large meadow, with a view of the mountains. Once or twice a week the owner organizes mountain walks under the guidance of a qualified guide. In preparation for the real climbing, there is a climbing wall at the campsite. In addition, there are plenty of recreational and sporting facilities for all age groups. In the immediate vicinity are opportunities for paragliding, VTT, canyoning, whitewater rafting and golf (18 holes at 10 km). Le Diamant is a campsite with a very French atmosphere, where Dutch campers also regularly return.
