Camping Le Ventadour

The epitome of atmosphere, cosiness and hospitality. In short, the ultimate holiday feeling. Camping Le Ventadour in the Ardèche in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region has that. This friendly family campsite is located directly on the river in the middle of nature. Families have been coming here to enjoy their holidays for generations. The site is located in the middle of nature, between the mountains and on the river Ardèche. A beautiful place! The spacious pitches are shaded and some directly on the river. Traditional camping, that's what it's all about! But staying in an accommodation is also possible. The 24 modern mobile homes are located in the shade of the trees and are oriented towards the rugged nature. They have 1, 2 or 3 separate bedrooms with their own terrace and a spacious plot.

Camping at Le Ventadour in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region means having a great holiday together. No extensive entertainment, but pleasant music evenings, a Jeu de Boules tournament and, above all, being sporty or relaxing. There is something for everyone. The reception will be happy to provide you with all the information you need. You can swim and canoe in the river Ardèche that flows past the campsite. The waterfall in the river is absolutely cool! Float on an air mattress on the water. How nice is that! Or read a book on the beach while the children look for stones or play in the sand. You can also throw out a fishing rod (fishing license available at the reception). You really don't need a swimming pool at this campsite.

Activities in the vicinity of the campsite
The campsite is located in the middle of the Monts d'Ardèche regional nature park and is a paradise for the sporty camper who likes to explore the area on a mountain bike or hiking boots. There are numerous marked walking and cycling routes that are very suitable for e-bikes, racing and touring bicycles. The only piece of through road is in front of the campsite. From there you are in nature in no time. You can easily rent an (electric) bicycle at the campsite. If you don't like challenges, you can enjoy the surroundings in a quiet way. A visit to Le Ventadour Castle is worthwhile, as is the famous waterfall high in the mountains and the source of the Loire.
