Camping D'Herbelon

Mooie camping aan groot meer, Monteynard-Avignonet. Zeer geschikt voor windsurfen en andere watersporten.
At about 8 km east of the D1075 (Grenoble-Sisteron) and the parallel route A51 (Grenoble-Monestier sur Clermont) camping d'Herbelon is located on the very long Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet. The campsite is mainly visited by lovers of windsurfing and other water sports. In the vicinity there is an approx. 100 meter long suspension bridge (here called a hymnalaya) high above the water. The bridge offers a beautiful view, but is definitely not suitable for people with vertigo! The campsite (about 50 places) offers good facilities, including a restaurant that is open during the entire camping season. Most camping pitches are group-wise between hedges, which means that almost all places have a view of the lake, but privacy is limited. The area offers opportunities for beautiful walks or car rides, the experienced cyclist will also appreciate the area. The Vercors nature reserve is not far from this campsite.
