Karaktervolle zomer- en wintercamping in bosgebied aan de rand van een nationaal park, met een gemoedelijke herberg en zonneterras.
The small and friendly Camping Am Nationalpark in Lingenbrunn lies on the part of the Bavarian Forest, which is a National Park, in the middle of a vast forest area. The campsite is open all year round. Not far from the Czech Republic (Narodni Park). Wide asphalt paths, partly a terraced campsite and lots of room for maneuver. The campsite is situated at an altitude of 850 meters and as a winter sports camp site it is popular with a relatively large contingent of dozens of Dutch campers. They remain for a longer period during the winter period. Under the inspiring influence of the owner there is plenty of attention for conviviality. The cozy Gaststätte then counts as a center. For example, Queen's Day is celebrated on January 31st. Even if that date is not correct, it is mainly intended for fun! You can go cross-country skiing and only 4 km away you have a ski slope at 1100 meters altitude. You are almost always assured of snow in the winter. Both the campsite and the region make every effort to make the tourist guests feel at home. There is an important number of attractions in nearby Spiegelau or the National Park which you can use for free or at a discount. For example, trips by bus or train are free, sometimes also with regular buses. But also free participation in walks, bike rides and snow walks and the maps you need for that. You can also visit exhibitions and museums for free or with a discount. Children receive a small surprise at the local tourist office. This is only a fraction of the total offer! In the area you can visit "Das Glasdorf", including the glass hut and in the town Weinfurtner is a factory of chandeliers. In the Bavarian Forest you will find a fascinating nature in and around the mountains, with several visitor centers. You can make beautiful walks. What about a trip to Passau, where you and your kids can enjoy the western city of Pullman City. A very special attraction is a visit to the Waldwipfelweg, 8 kilometers from the campsite. The Berlin Reichstag has been reconstructed there. It is a walk on the treetops of the Bavarian Forest, also suitable for people with wheelchairs.
