Camping Auf dem Kapfelberg in Neuhausen is a small campsite in the beautiful Bavarian Forest that is combined with a farm. The campsite is only 3 km from the A3 motorway, which leads to Austria from Nuremberg. For this reason, the campsite is ideal as a transit camp for people on their way to Austria, Italy, Croatia or Hungary. You reach the campsite via a short climb, but above you will be richly rewarded. You have a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the surroundings and look out over the valley of the Danube and the surrounding hills and mountains. A wonderfully quiet campsite with excellent, modern sanitary facilities, also suitable for people with wheelchairs. Around the house of the owner and at the sanitary building there is plenty of space to park. Camping Auf dem Kapfelberg has only tourist places and the terrain here and there is a bit sloping and terraced. The campsite is very popular with Dutch people and for tractors with a bike or motorcycle a 4-person cabin is available. Beds and mattresses are provided. The sanitary building and the water are heated with a state-of-the-art installation by burning wood chips. The campsite has a recreation room, a barbecue area, some play equipment for the kids. Of course, the children are also welcome to take a look at the stables of the animals. The friendly owner will be happy to respond to any requests. The environment is ideal for cycling. There are many well-signposted cycle paths. Excursions are also possible. For example to historic towns like Regensburg, Straubing, Deggendorf and Passau. But you can also visit several bobbins, take a boat trip on the Danube, visit a wildlife park or enjoy a walk in the wooded and hilly surroundings.
