Camping Straubing is a municipal site near the interesting town of the same name. The campsite has a good design and was only set up and built in 1997. The pitches are on grass and between 80 m2 and 100 m2. The campsite has plenty of asphalt roads. The modern sanitary building is centrally located. The campsite has excellent sanitary facilities, which have recently been modernized (2012). There is a restaurant with a cozy terrace and beer garden. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool next to the campsite. But also two 18-hole golf courses. There is a supermarket 200 meters from the campsite. In the historic town of Straubing, historic buildings stand in Baroque, neoclassical style. For example, you can visit St. Jacob's Basilica and the Ursuline Church. Also visit the 14th-century municipal tower and enjoy the view over the Bavarian Forest. Trips are possible to the glass village of Weinfurtner and the many attractions in the Bavarian Forest.
