Camping Green Village is a small campsite in the town Frauenau on the site of a former sawmill (150 years old), with a beautiful, old and original water wheel and an equally old building containing the sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a relaxation area. The energy is obtained 100% from its own hydropower. The bathroom is very decent. It is a simple, quiet site, owned by a family, which has a modern sawmill on the other side of the road. But with places to choose: in the lee of tall trees or near or between lower or demarcation vegetation. Many trips possible in the area, especially in glass and crystal. In the vicinity of the National Park of the Bavarian Forest are possibilities for free trips with (line) bus or train through the (forest) environment.
