The campsite is located high on the sunny side of the Taunus mountain range and is a terraced camp site with spacious pitches and a very nice view over the area. Some pitches are demarcated, in other places there are 4 or 5 caravans on a terrace. The plumbing is simple, but clean. The area is a nice challenge for the slightly experienced hiker, Eppstein is also a beautiful place and is located about 2 km from the campsite. There are several large cities in the area.
