The idyllic Grüne Insel Tanzwerder campsite is located where the Fulda and the Werra meet to form the Weser. The campsite is a 3-minute walk from the very interesting old town of Hann. Münden with its historic half-timbered houses
From the campsite it is possible to take beautiful walks in, for example, the mountain forests of Reinhardswald and Brahmwald. Marked cycling tours can be taken directly from the campsite through the valleys of Fulda, Werra and Wezer. It is also possible to make canoe trips on these three rivers. The campsite looks neat and has modern new sanitary buildings. Separate area for campers.
