Beautiful, very well maintained, child-friendly family campsite with sun and shade on the edge of the Teutoburger Wald. Some places have a TV connection. The campsite has super sanitary facilities and is 300 m from a small lake with a beautiful sandy beach. Children's entertainment is available on public holidays and in high season every day. At the campsite there is a mini-park with goats and rabbits and an old-timer motorcycle museum. On every 2nd Wednesday of the month there is a meeting with old-timer cars and motorcycles. For the children there is fire extinguisher once a week with a genuine original American fire engine. The area is very suitable for cycling and walking and on the lake there is a sailing and surfing school, and pedaloes are rented out. You can go canoeing and there are good opportunities for fishing. Various trips are possible in the area. You can go horseback riding (3 km), visit the old castles in Füchtdorf (5 km) or go on a day trip to Münster, Osnabrück and Bielefeld.
