Nicely cared for camping in the Harz Mountains. Well-appointed places, good sanitary facilities and a helpful management guarantee a relaxed holiday. The Brocken (1142m) is the highest mountain in the Harz Mountains, is only a few kilometers away from the campsite and can be reached by steam train. Elbingerode used to be the center of mining. There are two mining museums where guided tours are given. Some Highlights from the Harz: Rübelander stalactite caves and Western town. Of course it is also wonderful to relax at the swimming lake directly at the campsite.
