The campsite is simple and the sanitary facilities are neatly arranged. The location of the campsite is very nice, on the tourist Silberstrasse in the Erz Mountains. In summer the natural water offers plenty of entertainment and in the winter months there are winter sports centers (Fichtelberg and Auersberg) about 20 km away in the area: Radon-Kur bath Schlema, Robert Schumann-Stadt Zwickau, Wernesgrüner Branerei, Musikinstrumentmuseum Markneukirchen, Grube Tannenberg, Chemnitz, Leipzig and Dresden.
