Op slechts een paar uur rijden van Utrecht ligt de, bij Nederlanders geliefde, wintersportplaats Winterberg. ’s Winters zijn er hier meer dan dertig skipistes geopend, met een totale lengte van 27,5 kilometer. Pak de ski’s of roetsj met je snowboard de pistes af. In het Sauerland vind je ook talloze langlaufloipes. De meeste campings in Winterberg zijn ingericht als wintersportcamping.
