Camping Altschmiede is an elongated campsite on the banks of the Sauer. The entire site is well cared for. The sanitary facilities are spacious, in very good condition and partly new.

There is a new sanitary block by the pool, a snack bar and terrace. There is an entertainment program, train, lounge, shop, boat rental, etc. Of course, the Eifel and nearby Luxembourg with its many opportunities for cycling, hiking and sightseeing, are recommended for a friendly price.

Unique swimming paradise with three water slides
At camping Altschmiede there are two large, heated swimming pools with a sunbathing area and 3 slides, one of 80 meters, one of 100 meters and a very wide one. These excellently maintained swimming pools are laid out in a park-like ambiance with flowers and plants that refer to southern European countries.

The swimming pool is not a public swimming pool, only campers with a wristband can use it. All this invites you to relax and have fun.

A canoe trip on the Sauer will enchant you and offers you the opportunity to actively discover the beauty of the Sauertal. Relax and let yourself be enchanted with a canoe trip through the wild and romantic Sauertal.

Many interesting trips, attractions and sights in the German-Luxembourg Nature Park are possible from Camping Altschmiede in Bollendorf. The picturesque towns of Echternach, Diekirch, Clervaux, Luxembourg or Trier, the oldest city in Germany with many Roman buildings, are certainly worth a visit.
