Aan de rand van Mühlhausen ligt deze goed onderhouden camping met eenvoudig sanitair.
On the east side of the old Hanseatic town of Mühlhausen, the camp site 'Am Schwanenteich' is located very nicely. This is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes in the Hainich National Park and the nature reserve 'Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal'. The campsite is part of the 'Thuringian Therme' which also exploits the adjacent outdoor pool, the thermal bath and the recreational lake 'Schwanenteich'. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool is (temporarily) not in use, but all the other facilities on the complex of this open-air bath can be used by the campers. Many old buildings have been preserved in Mühlhausen and the old city wall is still partly intact. The city has 11 Gothic churches that are certainly worth a visit.
