For the sports enthusiasts among us there are numerous marked hiking and cycling routes available on the campsite. Nature Camping Weida is also an ideal starting point for visiting various sights: (Weida Renaissance Rathaus), Altenburg (Schloss and Spielkartenmuseum), Gera (Tierpark, Cartbahn). The access road is steep and narrow.
