Camping Kalami Beach is a nice family campsite in the northwest of the region "Epirus" and is only about 6 km from the port of Igoumenitsa. Camping Kalami Beach consists of several terraces so many places have a nice view over the bay. There is a lot of shade from trees. The roads are paved and camping Kalami Beach is right on the beach (pebble). The sanitary facilities are good and there is also a small shop for basic necessities. Of course camping Kalami Beach has a good restaurant. In the vicinity of the campsite you can discover some sights such as the oldest ancient oracle of Greece, "Dodoni" and the famous "Nekromandion", the Dead Temple. Famous places in the area that are definitely worth a visit are Sivota, Parga, Ioannina, Preveza and Arta. If you enjoy walking then a trip through the "Vikos Gorge" is a must.
