Camping Castello is located directly on a bay with a nice beach on the west coast of the peninsula Sithonia at about 3 km. north of the cozy Neos Marmaris. It is a simple campsite with only 25 tourist places. Most and most beautiful places have been taken by the Greeks. The tourist is at the back, close to the main road. Those places are also on the small side. The reception is open 24 hours a day for guests. The campsite has a beautiful entrance, lots of palm trees and flowers all over the grounds and various sports fields directly on the beach. All kinds of water sports are possible. Beach showers are available on the beach. The bathroom is simple and is reasonably maintained. Behind the beach bar there is a tennis court with a lot of palm trees around. That gives a nice look. You have to pay separately for tennis. A small river runs along the campsite. Unfortunately in a concrete box and that does not look so cheerful. There is no animation, but there is a playground for the little ones. Pets are not allowed at this campsite the whole season. Camping Castello has a self-service restaurant with nice meals. Striking: this campsite only opens on 15/6. But that also varies with the weather or the beginning of the Greek school holidays, etc. !! Be surprised. In the nearby Neo Marmaris is good browsing, there are lots of shops, a harbor and cozy restaurants. You eat here with your feet in the sand if you want to. Cycling in the immediate vicinity is difficult, but in and around Neo Marmaris you can go well. You can also take boat trips from Neo Marmaris to Porto Carras. Camping Castello is suitable as a transit camp, not for longer stays.
