This small but charming Greek campsite is located like a green oasis, about 1 km, south of the lively tourist / fishing village of Paralia near Katerini. There are only about 30 places. You can walk from the campsite to the sea by crossing the road (500 m.) There is a wide beach and a clear sea. Also the fish restaurants, port and shops of the very nice Paralia are close by. Walking or cycling along the bike path along the beach is wonderful, but the immediate surroundings are bare and flat. The campsite does not have many facilities. There are 2 swings for small children. There is a funny big BBQ with 20 seats for general use. An outdoor bar is available, but is not used. We visited the campsite at the end of May. It was wonderfully quiet, the grass was green and the birds were chattering. The owner (Kristi) of the campsite personally takes care of the flowers and plants. You can pick up your Greek, because she only speaks a few words of German and even less English. She is very friendly and caring. Only leashed small dogs are allowed after consultation. Large campers or caravans also have easy access to most pitches. The bathroom is pretty clean, but simple. The campsite is illuminated in the evening. Camping Kristi is located between a large orchard and the spacious 5 star hotel "Mediterranean Princess" where you can enjoy WIFI while enjoying a drink. (code is not required). There you can also use the mini market, the terraces and the restaurant. It is not cheap there. Camping Kristi is suitable for a few days holiday at the tourist Paralia.
