Camping Stavros is a well-maintained, cozy and friendly campsite right on the west coast of the Sithonia peninsula, the middle finger of Chalkidiki. The current owner Antonis believes that the foreign guests should have the best place and therefore has reserved the front 3 rows of pitches for them. You stand here as a frost with your nose almost on the lovely beach, the regular guests behind it. The rule is that all caravans and campers are perpendicular to the sea so that as much as possible visibility remains for everyone and that the sea breeze can bring the necessary cooling. Most of the trees are young plantings and provide half shade. The pitches are not really delimited but are indicated by small trees, so little privacy. The road to the campsite is quite steep from the main coastal road. The plumbing is kept clean. The new restaurant is trendy and has a cook who can cook great and for very reasonable prices .. The supermarket is nicely sorted and ensures your fresh sandwich every morning. You can also bring a boat because there is a boat ramp at the campsite and a lot of mooring buoys in the sea in front of the beach. Here and there there is a small playground. Camping Stavros offers no entertainment. Dogs only in consultation. They are certainly not allowed in the sea and on the beach at the campsite and nuisance is not accepted at all. If you come here with the backpack and a tent, Antonis will provide you with a table and chairs: service of the business !! In the nearby Neo Marmaris is good browsing, there are lots of shops, a harbor and cozy restaurants. You eat here with the feet in the sand if you want. Cycling in the immediate vicinity is difficult, but in and around Neo Marmaris you can go well. You can also take boat trips from Neo Marmaris to Porto Carras. There are two small, dated beach apartments for rent at the Stavros campsite. There are also excellent apartments with great views from all balconies and a large terrace at the bar. Camping Stavros, with its beautiful sunset, is a must for your holiday in the Greek Chalkidiki. Our proposal: drive a round Sithonia on the coastal road with its beautiful views.
