Camping Um Wirt is an attractive campsite in the town of Bettendorf. The campsite is run by a friendly and hospitable Dutch couple.
Camping Um Wirt stretches along the banks of the river Süre. You can choose from leafy spots under the trees or one of the many sunny spots. On arrival, the manager couple will give you a cup of tea, coffee or another drink.
Sporty
One of the few campsites in Luxembourg where you can cycle in a relatively flat area, for example along the Süre. The area is suitable for walking and cycling, mountain biking or canoeing and for sports enthusiasts there are also wooded and hilly routes
Dutch owners
If you want to go hiking and also want to visit quarries, the Promenade du Souvenir is a must. Ask for it at the reception. The Dutch manager couple, who also manage the bistrot with terrace and bar, are very service-oriented and are happy to help and advise you.
Good food and drink
The bistrot has an extensive menu at friendly prices, from cordon bleu to schnitzels. Because the campsite is part of a municipal (sports) park, it also has a tennis court and a multifunctional sports field opposite the entrance.
Near the bistrot and the terrace, the campsite has a volleyball court and jeu de boules courts. There is a WiFi hotspot around and near the reception for free internet.
Surroundings
There is a bakery in the adjacent village of Bettendorf. The attractive town of Diekirch is only 4 kilometers from the campsite.
