In the summer of 2007, camping Mjøsa Ferie og Fritidssenter opened its doors. The campsite has 310 camping pitches, 8 apartments with kitchen, bathroom and TV with DVD and some hytter. Lake Mjøsa is Norway's largest lake, you can rent a boat, fish or take a refreshing dive. In the summer the enjoyment is blown for the kids because then they can jump on the trampoline in the water. On the banks of the lake you will find the Olympic cities of Hamar, Gjøvik and Lillehammer. Except for the old steamship Skibladner there is no water traffic. In winter you can ski, slalom and cross-country in the area. You can go ice skating on the lake or in a typically Norwegian way through a wak.
