Møre og Romsdal is een van de mooiste regio’s van Noorwegen met prachtige fjorden als het Geirangerfjord, het Moldefjord, het Sunndalsfjord en het Romsdalsfjord. Het herbergt toeristische trekpleisters als het dorpje Geiranger en de Trollstigen. De Trollstigen is een bergweg tussen Geiranger en Andalsnes met 11 haarspeldbochten, een stijgingspercentage an 9% en slingert door een indrukwekkend gebergte met duizelingwekkende vergezichten, watervallen en steile bergwanden.Dagtrip naar Bud en Mole
Aan de kust is het vissersplaatsje Bud een bezoek meer dan waard. Volg daarna de kustweg richting de Atlanterhavsvegen, welke zich zo’n 3 kilometer over diverse eilanden slingert en bestaat uit acht spectaculaire bruggen. Ook een bezoek aan de rozenstad Molde – prachtig gelegen aan het Moldefjord – is de moeite waard. Hou je van jazzmuziek? Bezoek Molde dan medio juli als het beroemde Molde Jazz Festival gehouden wordt.Bezoek het uitkijkpunt Aksla
Wat meer naar het westen vind je het mooie stadje Alesund met prachtige Jugendstilhuizen. Overwin de 418 treden naar het uitkijkpunt Aksla en je hebt een geweldig uitzicht. Informeer van te voren bij de camping naar het schema van de cruiseschepen, want zowel de Hurtigruten als andere enorme cruiseschepen leggen aan (tot bijna) in het centrum van Alesund!Møre og Romsdal beschikt over prachtig gelegen campings welke voornamelijk bij bovenstaande attracties gelegen zijn.
