A must for the real 'Norway-lover' is the Kystriksveien (coastal road) RW17. It runs from Steinkjer to Bodø. The road passes many fjords and you have to cross the fjord several times with the ferry. Vennesund Camping is located at one of the berths. On the grass grounds behind the main building you are a few meters from the Fjord. From your camper or caravan you look at the regular mooring of a ferry. There is also a cozy restaurant next to the campsite with a view of the harbor. Well worth the effort to view the water from the campsite.
