The mountainous village of Vang is an excellent starting point for hikes in the National Park Jotunheimen and for car trips through both east and west Norway. Also try your fishing happiness in the Vangsmjøsa lake or take a trip to a beautiful mountain lake, brook or river. Bicycles, rowing boats, kayaks and canoes can be rented at the campsite. The rural roads around Vang are perfect for cycling and walks. These will lead you past charming mountain farms and other places of interest. Ask at reception about the various daytrip possibilities. The owners of the campsite also own Berg Aktiviteter. This company organizes mountain walks, dog sledding trips, glacier tours, teambuilding and company outings.
