Camping Redondo is a small campsite in the Portuguese countryside near the village of Poço Redondo and a few kilometers away from the historic city of Tomar. At this campsite you will be warmly welcomed by the owners Linda, Gijs or Carlos. Camping Redondo offers camping pitches on almost private places under olive and fig trees and beautiful planting; view over the vineyards and the woods. This campground has a sunny swimming pool with sun loungers and you can also relax on the terrace or at the bar. And would you like to do something about your condition? There are new outdoor gymnastics equipment. There is also a jeu-de-boule court. The small scale of Redondo creates a family atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner will be provided if you wish and after reservation. For the groceries you have to rely on the village of Serra or Tomar. The camping animals, donkeys and ponies are loved by children, especially because they can help with feeding and care. Walking and cycling routes have been set out from the campsite and it is also possible to rent bicycles. Horse riding is also possible. Sculpture courses and yoga classes are also organized. On the beautiful reservoir Zêzere 5 km away you can swim, fish or sail. A trip with a canoe? Redondo ensures including canoe, pick up and delivery. A day Tomar is definitely recommended and in the wider area are many other attractions such as Fatima, Alcobaça, Batalha and Obidos. For campers without transport the campsite offers its own taxi service and for the camper without a caravan or tent you can rent one of the attractive chalets, caravan or the Portuguese house on the campsite. Camping Redondo is a beautiful place to discover the beauty and nature of Central Portugal and to experience the friendliness of the Portuguese people. Camping here for several days is definitely recommended. The site has a fairly steep entrance and this can be difficult for larger caravans. The owners offer support where necessary. Reservations are not necessary, but in high season it is advisable for caravans / campers to call first.
