HEDSUNDA CAMPING in Sweden is located near the village of Hedesunda and has the appearance of a beautifully landscaped park. The camp site is quiet and very beautiful on the water, with its own jetties and the wonderful Sandsnäsbadet sandy beach. An ideal destination for swimmers, fishermen, canoeists, cyclists and other bon vivants. With more than five hectares of forest and grassland, this campsite offers 100 spacious camping pitches for caravans, camper vans and tents. Showers and toilet facilities (also for the disabled) are centrally located at the reception. There is a cooking facility, including microwave, washing place with hot water, washing machines, dryer and ironing facilities. Small daily groceries, toys, souvenirs, fishing equipment, fishing licenses and ice creams are available at the reception. Robust, traditional Swedish style houses are available all year round. You can also spend the night in one of the smaller 'stugor'. You can moor your own boat on one of the jetties or rent a fully equipped (fish) boat. For the children there are playgrounds, a sports field and safe shallow bathing with sandy beach and sunbathing area. The tranquility, the beautiful nature and the excellent facilities at this campsite ensure that camping becomes an unforgettable experience.
