Munkebergs Camping is located on the edge of Filipstad on a peninsula on Lake Lersjön. On the gently sloping site, there are 70 camping sites, there are also 10 cabins for rent and there is a youth hostel. There are several bbq / grill places available throughout the campsite, which can be used by all camping guests. Several boats and canoes, but also a pedal boat are available for our guests. The campsite is located directly on Lake Lersjön, with very good fishing opportunities to catch pike and perch. The municipality of Filipstad is a paradise for fishermen and nature lovers. In the large forests of Värmland there are many moose and beavers, but also wolves and many species of birds of prey. Several nature reserves in the vicinity of the campsite invite you to go hiking. Canoe trips are possible from the campsite. Many sights can be reached by bike. On the campsite there is a small playground, a swimming possibility and a sauna. Dogs are welcome and have their own swimming spot. There are several restaurants nearby and a large ICA - Supermarket is 800 meters away.
